Questions about Kling 4.0
What is Kling 4.0?
Kling 4.0 is Kling AI’s newest AI video model, made by Kuaishou. It turns a prompt, a picture or up to 15 references into a video of 3 to 30 seconds with sound, and it can edit a video you upload.
How long can a Kling 4.0 video be?
Any length from 3 to 30 seconds per clip, in whole seconds. You choose the length before you click, and the price on the button follows it.
What quality and shapes does Kling 4.0 make?
720p or 1080p, in 21:9, 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. With references, or when you edit a video, there is also Auto, which picks the shape from what you added. A video made from a first frame takes that picture’s shape.
Does Kling 4.0 make sound?
Yes, in every clip: dialogue, singing, sound effects and ambience, in sync with the picture. There is no switch to turn it off; describe the sound you want in the prompt.
Can I start from my own picture?
Yes. Add a first frame and Kling 4.0 starts the video from it. Add up to 8 middle frames and an end frame, 10 in all, and the story moves through them in order.
How do references work?
Add up to 10 pictures and 5 videos, then name them in your prompt as @Image1, @Image2 and @Video1, numbered in the order you add them. A reference video can guide the movement, the camera and the pacing of the new clip.
Can Kling 4.0 edit a video I already have?
Yes. Upload the clip, it becomes @Video1, and say what to change: swap the character or the set, remove something, or change the style. You can add pictures and more videos as references.
How is Kling 4.0 different from Kling 3.0?
Kling 4.0 goes up to 30 seconds (Kling 3.0 up to 15), always makes sound, and adds 21:9, references and video editing. Kling 3.0 stays in the studio, including its 4K setting and Motion Control.
How much does Kling 4.0 cost on AI Whisperer Lab?
You pay per run, with no monthly plan. 1 credit = 1 cent, credit packs start at $9.99, and credits never expire. The exact price of each clip shows on the button before you click, and if a run fails the credits come back automatically.
Do I need a subscription to use Kling 4.0?
No. Buy credits once and use them on Kling 4.0 or any other model in the Lab: image, video, voice and music. Nothing renews, and unused credits never expire.
